there is no way a white mob should be 1 shotting people with normal attacks

I dont know what you guys did this update but every map i do has a white mob that can and will 1 shot you off your damn screen from arrows and other simple attacks , I have 93% evasion and do 24k damage and yet i get hit from attacks i cant see or avoid that just delete you

i dont understand how its in this bad of a state at this point i honestly dont see poe2 releasing in a year

You need much more than evasion in this game.
Evasion is unreliable, even if you max it out to 70-90%. Armour is much better because it's actual mitigation. I always pick up Iron Reflexes with evasion classes. Too much hassle creating a layered defence with both evasion and armour.
This is currently the core issue of Evasion as a concept. This was an issue for a long time in PoE1 as well, compensated largely by the better ability bow users had to clear monsters before seeing them, but this has been hugely curtailed in PoE2. They also buffed evasion in PoE1's middle eras by tacking on some bonus life to basically all evasion nodes, helping them survive stray hits (and Spell suppression, offering them a defense against spells that you can't evade).

PoE2 currently lacks these features, as such Evasion is always a gambit, it requires perfect play, and evasion only gives you a chance to avoid the instant death an error makes. I don't suggest evasion builds for anyone but the most rigorous players who like playing on the edge of the knife, doubly so with the single portal system being so onerously risk adverse.

I do hope they do some Evasion tweaks somehow, adding life, perhaps just reworking the core of evasion so its MUCH more reliable (i.e dodging over 100% of attacks), but making it weaker each dodge recently (so you can build such you know you're totally safe from 1-2 swings every 4 seconds, permitting you to duck in and out), or having it improve your dodge roll in some way. Until that time however, I'd generally consider evasion as a non-viable solution, and suggest rangers split Evasion/Armor or Evasion/ES for the time being.
