Random lag spikes every 10-20 seconds

Hello,

I am currently experiencing a problem with lag spikes every 10-20 seconds mostly where I would be stuck for about 10-20 seconds and then rubber band far away making the game quite unplayable. There are instances in which the high ms happens every few minutes instead of seconds and there does not seem to be a cause to this problem as it happens randomly(the spikes go from 14ms to 10,000).

My specs are as follows:

Intel i91300k
Geforce RTX 4080
32gb ram

My game settings are default.

I am unable to provide a screenshot.

Are you using predictive or lockstep under networking? I would try both.

Thank you so much for your advice! predictive did not help and made it a lot worse, but lockstep did somewhat improve the issue, although it was not solved. Nonetheless thank you so much for helping me improve the game! :)

bro i have same issue as well
when the poe2 first launched it working really smooths and well when i using high quality graphics mode.
but after 2weeks gets lag , spike screen cracks etc.

SPIKE- LAG EVERY SEC ..
i have been try everything can down grade, turn off the internal graphic card etc. still have lag zz



my spec is AMD 7800X3D
RTX 4080
16MB

Yeah, I feel you bro when it doesn't lag so hard (I'm new to POE) the game is delightful but when it does can't even play the game very frustrating my friends are all holding off from buying because of this... :( hopefully, it gets fixed or at least if any one have any other advice I can try would be great ;-;
