Remove/Revamp Trials - Intellegent logical reasons WHY
Trials are Special game functions required to get ascendancy points.
An action RPG game in its core is about killing monsters in various ways. level up your character and get new skills, attributes and perks. The players who is drawn to this genre of games like this core. Trials are NOT that. 1. Puzzle solving is not in the core of action rpg games, but its core of a different game genre so the target audience don't want puzzles. Traps fall under this reason too. 2. Perma death is an option some player like and that is why it's an option in many action rpg games. But Forced perma death is not good. Playing for 30 min and die only to be forced to attempt that lost 30 min again is not fun for the casual player who picked standard play mode. Perma death is soul crushing and its very bad to retain player attention. make it optional. 3. To hide absolute essential parts of the game such as the ascendancy tree behind a forced game function that is very different from the rest of the game is a bad idea to start with.
