Charge infusion + energy shield if consumed power charge interaction bug

Every time I consume a power charge with charge infusion, I get the increased energy shield from the nodes "Energy shield if consumed power charge" however I only get maximum, not actual. So my energy shield looks like it is taking a chunk of damage every time this effect happens.

There is a 0.7 second delay between power charge happening and "recently" so what happens is I have all the ES bonuses (which for me is 40% as I have 2 nodes), the recent 4 seconds runs out and I drop down to my normal ES so its approximately 3200 max ES to 2800 ES, which is fine, the problem is 0.7 seconds later, when a charge gets consumed for power infusion my max ES goes back to 3200 but my current ES is still 2800 so it feels like I am constantly losing health.

Feels like a bug/bad interaction.

Edit: Also to make matters worse, if I have any grim feast stacks it slowly just reduces it down to nothing, its really bad.

+1 feels like a bug, and now also creates a "damage taken" effect on the bottom of the screen.

yeah, noticed this myself. I had to remove the Energy Shield if Consumed Power Charge because it messes with survivability

Omg I was trying to find what was causing this bug since it started in 0.1.1 for me... I was only looking at the "Lust for Power" node and didn't notice the nodes before it. Thank you.

I wanted to add that this bug unfavorably interacts with things that give you more than max shield, like Grim Feast. Because only the MAX ES goes up, not the current ES, it literally eats away at the extra energy shield.

For instance, I have 1172 ES normally, and then I get up to 1200 ES with Grim Feast, then consume a power charge, my ES goes up to 1300 or something. Then a second or two later, my energy shield goes back to 1172, but because I had less ES with grim feast than I had max ES, I now have like 1100 ES remaining, meaning I actually lost energy shield.

If it';s higher, it still lowers. This had killed me so many times and I'm so glad I found what was causing it because I was pulling my hair out trying to figure it out...
