Trying To Change my Email Adress fro old to the new

Hello,

I'm not sure where to post this. Because I don't really get my messages answered via Contact or Customer Support. I had issues with my Account using an old email that I didn't have access to for over 10 years or so. At first, I contacted Contact Support to see if there was a way to verify myself and then basically change the email to my actual email, where my steam is already linked to. I did get an answer from contact support that they would need to verify quite strictly (which is normal) and then they could look into it to see if I could change or not. Then I asked what would be required for the verification process for the account, but to this day I still didn't get a single answer. After basically no responses from GGG, I just tried every password that I used over the last 10 years, or at least I tried. 3 days ago, I finally found out what the password was. Great! Now I already changed my password on the website, and I want to change my email through the website; the password is also accepted, and the message "we will email you to verify the change, etc. to your new email address" is the only problem I have now. I have been checking my email (my actual one where I want it to be changed) almost every hour over the 3 days, but I don't get the verification email. My question now is: is this an automated process or not? And if it is, why does the verification email not arrive so I can finally update my email to the correct one?
I f people want to ask why i wanna change in the first place basically I already invested money in the game and I read a lot about hackers hacking accounts, I don't really have valuable loot or something, but I still wouldn't want my account to be hacked and would want my email address to be my actual one that I'm using and not the one that I used back than where I don't have access to.



TLDR:Is Changing Email via website not working right now, or what is going on?
