My Citadel Randomly Completed on its own.

I purposely avoided this citadel, because I wanted to be stronger before attempting it. Before even attempting it once, I went back and checked... and it's completed? I still have my currency and nothing is missing on my account. Not really sure how this is possible. Has anyone had this issue with a Citadel just completing on its own?
