New POE2 player - Confused to say the least

Good afternoon, everyone,

I would like to ask if someone has some basic yet fundamental advice for a new POE player? I did not find a How2 guide for beginners like me.

I am playing ACT1 and feel confused to say the least. In my humble opinion, at least from a new players perspective, I would like to see much more guidance (holding my hand if you will) and a better explanation of leveling/powerup, class items.

I am sure the issue lays with myself yet not sure where to look for help/guidance.

The teleporting also makes no sense to me, I see empty orbs on the map yet have no idea how to even get there... or how to unlock parts to even get to what I believe to be something that is part of ACT1.

I have done my best to look at YouTube videos and still feel confused, sad, I know! :)

@Dev's: Would you please consider making at least ACT1 more of a holding hands experience and much better explain the mechanics such as traveling around the map, what item does what in regard to leveling up items, what can you socket or use for upgrades, etc..., Or maybe adding a feature that allows for people to enable/disable holding hands :)
