Since POE2 has "destroyed" conversion double dipping can we have more conversion?

some skills convert damage. some supports ADD damage.

but what about pure conversion ON weapons?

ive not seen large "flat damage" numbers on weapons. usually they're puny. alot of weapons simply have a lot of flat phys which is later converted by weapon skills.

what do you guys think of a new conversion mod on gear. for example players get increased phys, added phys etc as a prefix. so the weapon has a ton of phys damage.

but as suffix, we can have new suffixes such as "converts 100% weapon damage to Fire". essentially turning it into a fire based weapon.

this way we dont need to roll flat fire and then increased fire on a weapon to get the equivalent fire damage.

also, the way conversion works in poe2, if you somehow did craft a 2handed mace with a ton of fire damage, the physical damage you have is almost useless if you only put points into increased fire damage passives.

tho i do understand it could brick a weapon if you did want it to be a physical only mace.
