Checking quality of a skill gem (after patch)

It seems some UI was tweaked. Now for a controller, how can I check what benefit I get when I upgrade quality of a skill gem? Previously, just press R3 and it will show. Now it's nothing.

nvm it is in fact L3, I don't know why I thought it was R3

Previously, it's R3 (the right stick), but now it doesn't show info. on quality. Pressing L3 (the left stick) does nothing.

Having the same issue. Cannot see what improving quality of skill gem does.
