You remove the interaction with Demon Form and Mask of the Stitched Demon... But offer no alternative. Anyone who was running this build is now nerfed to the ground to the point the character will be unplayable. Meanwhile Archmage, Monks and Deadeyes receive no nerf at all? This is quite infuriating.... You said in the interview you were not going to "kill any build", but you are just removing Demon Form from being viable in any way.
In my opinion, rework the Mastered Darkness node to something similar to the previous interaction previously mentioned. Having 10 maximum Demon Flame is utterly useless in end-game. /very sad Last bumped on Jan 17, 2025, 8:38:29 AM

PS: or change Mastered Darkness node to have 100-200 max stacks... not 10.

Fellow Demon Form Stitch abuser here:
Switch to EB + MoM. You get only half the life regen and about half the buffer, but poison and bleed no longer gib you for free if you're high on stacks. ...and since "half the life regen" is still like 800+, you're still looking at minimum 400 stacks of Demon Form which, come on man, it's fine. No, you don't have a 10k buffer anymore that regenerates as if ES was recharging. This is fine. A thing shouldn't give you both a 5 million damage comet and the best tank in the game. That is unbalanced. You *should* have to choose between one-shotting pinnacle bosses and surviving if they hit you. You *had* to know this change was coming. It was *ridiculous*. (but totally agree about that 10-limit node, no one takes that thing. " Man it took me so long to get to 1400 stacks! I think it was fine, its not like we start at full power, its either we were super tanky OR we did crazy damage... Not saying it was balanced, it wasn't... But I think its lame killing such a cool concept. |

Ok so I tried the EB tech and it seems to work not too bad... Used a 61% Ghostwrithe and a 30% Everlasting Gaze with a tiny 1700 mana pool and was able to get to 850 stacks. The problem now is that it's yet another build that will need double Dream Fragments + Ingenuity to work well (for mana/health pool and more regen from EG). Went from a 30 div build to 250+ div build while getting nerfed...

i felt there is a bit rework on demon form and the skill tree. i think Demon Form concept itself is fun as high risk high reward with the hp drain. but atm the problem of demon form is more like high risk no reward |
