Hacking has been insane or at least i think

Twice now Ive traded for an item and double checked the stats and when i went into my inventory it was completely different I've grinded to be able to afford these items, and now ive commpletely lost the drive to play this game. I'm now out of countless hours of grinding, my currency and my will to play this game lol.

before you click trade double check the items. problem solved.
the thing is i did. both times they were the items listed on the trade site. but when i went to my inventory they werent.
Items can end up with the same names and have different stats. I think it would be way more prevalent and happening to everyone if there was some way to swap the item after being confirmed. Like what are the chances that this happened to you from 2 separate people/trades but isn't happening to anyone else? Sure it's not impossible but the chance is so low it might as well be zero
This has nothing to do with hacking.

The item was switched in the trade window. Before you can complete a trade you have to move your mouse courser over the items traded. This will highlight them green. When the item gets switched, the green highlight disappears and you have to move your mouse courser over again. If you don't do this, the trade cannot be completed.

So to me the most likely scenario was, the other player put the correct item in, you hovered over it, it was the correct item, the other player changed to item, you could not complete the trade, quickly hovered over the item again, without checking it a second time and completed the trade with the switched, wrong item.

With trading you always have to be careful. Better to double check the stats, before you end up with the wrong item.

I think a player vendor system would work better on top of the trade we have already. Like you get say 3 pages you can place on a vendor that's active while in game and all player vendors can be accessed from a specific area in game with a built in search and some kind of currency sink built into it to keep the bots down. It would stop price fixing and the swapping but still normal trade would be a thing for items you're not sure on the price. A window that summarizes everything in the trade window would be a great idea too and stop most ppl falling victim to swapping. Like just listing any currency with the amount of each and names of items in the trade window would go along way. This is already how bots function their scripts add up currency in the trade window and check it against what it's being sold for.

This %100. Yesterday i was about to get scammed that way. Usually note this ; if you /w your trade request and they come back you like 1min later without the item you linked its gonna happen %100. Always check your traded item before you click trade.
