Can you fix your network connections for christ sake

I can play a map on constant 20ms latency, and the next one I enter starts to jump up to 2000ms or even more. That's unplayable, and in this state I already regret buying the EA version and even spending more money on this trash.

Edit: Wrong game version. was complaining about PoE2.

it's a curse living 10 meters next to the ggg servers and being able to play with a direct cable to their switches.

Well if their servers are where it says on the login screen, the one I'm using is over 700km away from where I live.
I am surprised about the 20ms, when it works properly, as well. While the 20ms sound great, the problem is, the next few maps it is way worse:
And it's not just single lag spikes, it's as long as I am on a map, latency is constantly jumping. Until my char dies ofc, because you can't survive 2 seconds lag and clear the whole map.
And with some luck the next map works well again, or without any luck it will be even worse.
Meanwhile I am tracking my network quality with a raspberry during gameplay, and it's fine all the time, so it has to be their servers which cause this.
