USB ports shutting off mid game

I have been experiencing this issue for a while now, but pretty much I will be mapping and at random times I will hear the USB disconnect sound or reconnect sound (the little ping when plugging in a USB).

When this happens it usually disconnects my headset plugged into my USB 3.0 port, I know it was disconnected because I lose audio in game and also audio on discord. At the same time something usually happens with my fans, and they seem to power down a bit. Usually running on high speed, but when this happens I can hear them go lower.

After about 30 seconds or so, the ports are then toggled back on and I regain audio and my fans start at high speed again.

Does anyone know what would be causing this, or have any fix?

- I have tried switching USB ports but it still happens in other ones.
