POE 2 Item rarity effect currency drop?

Right now

there is an argument in the Thailand community about increased item rarity affecting currency drop.
From poe2 wiki some believed that currency has no rarity and will not be affected by increased item rarity mod.
as said

" Some items such as currency do not have rarity; however, they do have internal measures of "valuable"-ness or "rarity" through weights which affects their drop rates. "

Can someone help me get a clear answer to this question?
