Amulet with sound Bug

After i traded with someone and got "Catalclysm chocker jade amulet", i placed the amulet on my character and the amulet started to spam sounds (amulet placement sound), my game gets slower and slower.

when i exit to character menu and login back to play my character - or - use a waypoint and travel through the map the sound stops.

if i double click on the amulet to unwear and wear it again, the sound starts again.

questions:
1. is it possible that i got a duped item or sth?
2. Can devs replace the amulet on my character so that i don't have that sound bug anymore?

I'm having the same issue. Removing the amulet for any reason (removing without replacing, or replacing the amulet with another) causes the game to spam the sound and, if left alone for long enough, will crash the game. The problem only seems to be on one of my amulets and not affecting anything else. Another note, my amulet was traded for just like OP's so, it might have something to do with it but I'm not 100% sure.
