Kaom's Heart disables Life Remnants which needs no spirit

Bug report reference number : 3,627,492,447.

This is not mentioned in the "Known Issues" thread.

As soon as my Bloodmage equipped Kaom's Heart (which includes the mod "You have no spirit"), the Life Remnants ascendancy major node which must be picked in order to access any other ascendancy major node, stopped working.
In other words, no red life orbs drop anymore, be it on kill or on critical hit.
This immediately resolves itself when Kaom's Heart is unequipped.

Expected : Life Remnants drop as usual on 25% of kills, and on every critical hit with a 2 seconds cooldown.

Observed : Life Remnants never drop.

Life Remnants only has the tags "Buff" and "Persistent".
"Persistents" "often need to reserve spirit in order to be activated", not "always".
"Buff" says nothing at all about reservation.

There is no spirit cost or reservation of any kind associated with Life Remnants, the (huge) drawback being the life cost it adds to all skills, so this is not working correctly.

I tested with a Sceptre today, as they also give a skill that does not require spirit. Kaom's Heart did not disable that skill, which confirms that Life Remnants is bugged.

Patch 0.1.1 has been released. It's a great patch with many fixes, but I tested just now and it didn't fix this problem.

It's been 3 months with no fix for this, and the patch notes currently out for the big 0.2.0 patch do not mention this bug at all.

I'll be updating this post when I test again after release, so Blood Mages know whether or not to waste money on this armor in the new economy (because since you cannot avoid taking the first ascendancy node, and can't change ascendancy, all Blood Mages are concerned).
