Natural Immunity - (+4 to ailment threshold per dexterity) - how to count correctly?

Natural Immunity node in passive tree gives +4 to ailment threshold per dexterity.

How should I understand this? +4 - how much is this? what is the base ailment treshold - 0? 10? 100? 1000? 64,56?

Even if you tell me the base, still dont understand this mechanic properly. if i have 100 treshold and 500, how much better will become my defence vs ailments. Any formulas?

Your elemental ailment threshold is, by default, equal to your Life, as far as I am aware. The threshold determines how much buildup of electrocute/freeze you receive and your chance of being shocked/ignited/chilled, when compared to the damage you receive.
Looking places that shall not be mentioned, it looks way more complex than anticipated.

I really hope GGG will at least give us our base Threshold numbers so we got some idea on how much we are scaling it.
