Just got Scammed by this guy - Reminder to check your items, unlike me.

I'm new to POE and this is my first forum post, so if there is some etiquette behind this but I learned a valuable lesson and got a reminder of it tonight.

Check your items. Thoroughly.

He posted the item and I saw the armor stat was wrong, and was so fixated on the armor stat being right that I didn't notice the main stats being wrong.

I tried to post the guys name to global but it has ascii characters in it and can't be shared in game.


Needless to say, I know it is on me and I screwed up. I am sure I am not the first, and unfortunately probably won't be the last to fall for this, but just felt like venting/annoyed from it.

Good ol' bait and switch.


Back to farming for 2 weeks to make it up and maybe get the right one this time haha.
