It's time we talked about these random rollbacks

It has happened twice today in London EU server. I refuse to think it's due to network traffic congestions, and it's definitely not on my end. What are these sudden freezes -> disconnects -> rollbacks about?

I read somewhere, can't remember where, reddit most likely, that there is a server crash exploit that allow knowledgeable people to rollback Vaal Orb results. Chaos Orb results also. It makes me wonder how on earth are those Mirror-tier bows and quivers are even possible with the current tremendously lackluster crafting system we have at the moment.

As far as I’m aware those crash exploits to rollback Vaal roles did not cause server crashes, it was the player client crashing that resulted in that exploit.

If every time that exploit was done the entire server went down for everyone and all got a rollback it would be incredibly noticeable because the server would have been crashing every single minute of the day.
