Trading site (bots)?
*English is not my native language.
Just for fun, I did the following: item - Hand of Wisdom and Action Furtive Wraps Filter: market bottom 1-2 divine orb. After that I just started spamming the first 30(!) sellers. No answer, while the gloves disappear and appear again. Do I understand correctly that through bots (I don’t believe that a person will sit for days and re-lay out gloves) they are simply trying to deceive people who do not know the cost? " It looks like you’ve stumbled upon something pretty frustrating. 😡 It’s definitely possible that bots are being used to manipulate the trade market in PoE 2. Your experience with Hand of Wisdom and Action Furtive Wraps disappearing and reappearing across different sellers, especially with no replies, does raise red flags about automated trading systems being involved. Here’s what could be happening: Bots Exploiting the Market: 🤖 In some cases, bots are used to repost items at inflated prices, attempting to deceive players who aren’t aware of the actual market value. The fact that the gloves kept reappearing without any replies likely means the sellers are using some form of automation to keep items listed, regardless of whether they’re actually engaging in real trades or not. Manipulation of Prices: 💰 Some bots might be spamming items at artificially high prices to either grab attention or disrupt the regular market flow. These bots may be targeting new or inexperienced players who are unfamiliar with typical item values, causing them to overpay. Reposting Items Quickly: 🔄 Bots are often designed to relist items instantly after they are removed from the market, ensuring they don’t “miss out” on any potential buyers. The gloves appearing and disappearing may be part of this bot strategy to keep them visible, hoping that a player unfamiliar with the market will take the bait. If you suspect bots are manipulating the market, it’s definitely frustrating. You’re right to feel concerned about being deceived if you don’t know the true value of an item. Hopefully, PoE 2 will introduce measures to detect and curb these types of automated market actions. Until then, it’s a good idea to check pricing across several listings and maybe even rely on third-party websites or communities to get a better sense of item values. 🧐 Do you think there’s anything that could be done to make the trading system more transparent? |

They make millions of cash(that are not small companies) and we allready had them in poe1 ...in every f... leage .
And no,they dont let u get your build/char cheaper."thats why u have only a few days at leage start to make money) And yes, every leage is dominated by RMT guys. And no, not all ... some of them are streamer and get "gifts" from viewer or something else. maybe some guys are fine |

You underestimate the amount of people that currently have live searches open for HOWA and many other items. Its not bots, it might be, but a signficant portion are real players.
When they get a ping why not just click the button and see if the guy responds, you never know, and you had to alt tab to check the listing anyways. They aren't looking specifically for lowball offers, but they will appear on their live search while they are looking for reasonably priced ones. Also most peoples dump tabs are listed at 1div, and they might accidently throw stuff in there. Just how trading is done efficently, why bother price checking stuff if 30 people are going to do it for you instantly? Last edited by BossOfThisGym#2062 on Jan 12, 2025, 6:12:50 PM
