poe 1 is broken

I play poe 2 right now the endgame is so rough that i felt like trying my hand at poe 1. Only issue the game is unplayable if the game even loads through the starting screen without hard freezing and going unresponsive it will last like 1 minuet and then kick me off. Anyone have any ideas what the heck is going on? This feels rather crappy my computer stats are well above the game requirements my internet is running perfectly fine and poe 2 loads fine.

It seems nobody cares about POE1 crashes. The game is unplayable.
