Unable to use Well in Canal Hideout on Controller

Unable to use the well even when placed in other hideouts the well in the Canal hideout is unusable on a controller it seems.

The canal well is nothing more than an obstacle for me. I can’t use it, replace it, or manipulate it to move it.
