Refund guide

Is it allowed to place a refund guide here for users that cannot play/login/install the game due to any of the bugs?

All refund requests should be directed to us at support@grindinggear.com so we can look into the request.
The issue is that people aren't getting help through support@grindinggear.com, I have experienced this as well. I got a reply that there are no resources to offer support.

I think you should either step up with your support, or you make a sticky post assisting people in getting refunds so they at least have a choice.

A lot of people aren't aware of how the service game model works. By purchasing a service game such as PoE you never truely own the game. But GG is required by contract to offer services. By not offering support you are therefor in your right as a customer for a refund as one of the parties are not following through with the purchase agreement (regardless of hours playtime).

No, support got back with the suggestion to buy another copy. They did not help me with the refund.

In what world will making additional purchases help me getting a refund? I'm just filling their wallet. I believe taking advantage of people through lies/deceit is known as fraud.

Hence I e-mailed steam (not through refund, but through a question) and showed them the e-mail replies and got my refund through steam instead.

Because of that I had to contact steam via 'ask question about purchase', not via refund. They at first said they would not refund a game, but they did refund it after seeing screenshots of the e-mail and forum.

Hence I want players to be aware that if they purchased via steam and they are not getting a working game, or they did not receive the items. Simply explain this to steam including screenshots of the forum and e-mail and explain the entire case. It is likely you will get a refund.
Thanks because support is non existent and alot of people seem to be just getting taken advantage this is 100% predatory behavior
I also would advise everyone using a CC, Paypal, any system like this.

Please do not use Xsolla as you do not have any protection over your transaction!

I fully understand.

I noticed a pattern: whenever there is money to be made there is no wait time. I've been waiting previously for a month for support, when asking about solutions I suddenly get a response in a day telling me to repurchase the game to "be able to process the refund".

Now I have repurchased to game to refund and I'm not getting responses anymore.

The idea that sending e-mails resets a "queue" is nonsense. The idea that they work on a queue is BS as well as I get a reply in 24H on my e-mail.

Maybe it's time for GGG to be more transparent to their player base.
