Skill Gem Menu Buttons Persistent During Gameplay and on Other Screens

I was inspecting the advanced skill info while adding/removing support gems to various skills. After closing to resume gameplay I noticed the buttons covering parts of my toolbar. This happened while in the bone pits area.

Pressing the buttons shown on the screen doing gameplay didn't do anything. It seemed purely visual in all screens where they were visible - it was not visible in every menu screen. Reopening the advanced skill info didn't remove the buttons.
Closing the game fixed the issue.
