Macros for spells

Hello, I'm new to PoE and I was wondering if I can use a macro on my mouse to make the Window of Opportunity spell hit always at the perfect time? I know I can't use macros with timers that will do certain things repeatedly, but can I use click -> 1 second delay -> release? Thank you in advance.
