Ascendency Trials issue

I'll get the dirty out of the way first, I'm lvl.75 and still havn't completed my 3rd Ascendency Trial. And I don't necessarily think that's my fault, but legitimately the game's.

Outside of the typical discussions had about the trials themselves (which are mostly legitimate complaints) there is a fundimental flaw with this system that I havn't really seen many people bring up, and it's the issue with simply getting access to do them in the first place.

I know you need to be lvl.60 and need a ilvl.60 key to get the points. The crux of my problem is that the key never once dropped for me until I was lvl.73 (which is a massive issue on it's own), well into mapping. Now here's the core issue:

When you get a Trial key, the keys difficulty scales based on the map level it dropped in. Which means all keys for my trial were MUCH higher than lvl.60, where the game first expects you to attempt them. The issue here is that I was still in lvl.55 equipment at this point, because no upgrades were coming my way, at all. For a lvl.60 Trial, this wouldn't be much of a big deal. For lvl.70+? Forget it. I was getting 1 shot by damn near everything to the point where the Honor system didn't even matter. This is easier to manage on Maps, because you can take it slow and enemies don't seem nearly as bad, since they're 15min run throughs at worse, and each "room" cleared was progression being made, even if you died here and there. Not the case for 3 entire series of gauntlets worth of trials + bosses, where a single hit means going back to square one, all the way back to farming a damn key again.

My solution?
Do away with the key system completely for Ascendency Trials, keep the Trial as a fixed lvl.60 map, and just have the players unlock it after fighting the Act 2 Djinn on Cruel. It really is that simple.
