Soul Tether Belt Is Not Working, Please Fix!

I am using a Blood Mage and trying out the Soul Tether Belt and the excess leech is not being applied to my energy shield. I'm not sure if the life remnants are messing with the calculation, but it goes from 1000+ life per second to nothing and my energy shield doesn't get that recovery when I reach max health.

do you leech more than the 5% es degen from the belt?

Can confirm this behaviour. With overflowed life no ES leech is applied, without overflowed life ES recovers very fast while leeching.

I am a deadeye, running a whirling slash build. Attacking 5x a sec. I have death rush on(%5 life leech) life thief support gem(%8 leech) and another mod here and there with leech. Soul tether doesn't work. I thought it was the couture of crimson+ soul tether combo, so I dropped the chest piece. Nope, it's the belt. Are they fixing it? Cuz torture of crimson and soul tether on a deadeye with an attack every .15 sec should be tanky as poo....but so many bugs with this build. :( smh.
