Breach Monsters outside of Radius are invisible

Entered Map with buddy.
Buddy ran ahead - walked into breach hand.
I walked towards him, saw the breach approaching me.
Before breach approached me, invisible monsters surrounded me and killed me.
I started crying due to 10% xp lost.
