PoE2 - Map events spawn inside of eachother, making the map incompletable

TL:DR Essence map boss spawned inside final ritual alter, couldnt complete the map because the map boss was scared.

Playing PoE2 on PC and running a T8 yellow Crypt map. The Crypt had a Ritual alter and deadly map boss modifier, one of the map bosses (not the deadly MB) had spawned as an essence and inside of the final ritual alter, I was able to select and activate the Alter by using the base of the alter (the spikes on the base) to trigger it but the essence boss couldnt be triggered, the visable event prompts (the floating img which tells you what the essence is) was unresponsive and theres also phantom mobs, everything in that area was dead the micro second I came within range of it but some of them didnt despawn

also, why can't i screenshot on this game using the prnt screen button? maybe this has always been thing on poe, ive never had a need to screenshot anything on this game yet. picture was taken on my phone, im sorry.
