Acceleration Support Gem Not working with Feathered Fletching

I am unsure if I am just mis understanding how Feathered Fletching works but when I socket the Acceleration Support gem to my gas arrow gem while having the Feathered Fletching passive active and I am not seeing any increase to the DPS of the skill when I socket this gem. In fact when I have the support gem socketed the projectile speed modifier goes to 0... is there some sort of bug going on with this support gem at the moment?
