Campaign Quest Objective Legacy of the Vaal Stuck in Quest Log

I believe this happened as a result of portaling after defeating Doryani in Act 3 Normal. Finished the fight, and before talking to Doryani, portaled out to empty bags. Town portal brought me to the 400 BIC portal, in the past, which I clicked expecting to be brought to town, as you are intended to be sent to the past from the Ziggurat Encampment side. Instead, this sent me to Act 1 Cruel, and began the objectives for Cruel.

At the time, I did not know how to get back to Act 3 Normal past, so I left it alone. Continued on through the game, and finished Cruel. Upon arriving at the Ziggurat Refuge, "Legacy of the Vaal - Speak to Doryani" appears in my log, also appearing while in Hideout or Maps. The objective does not appear in any other area that I have found, including any of the Act 3 areas mentioned below in my escapades to resolve this.

I try to talk to Doryani in the refuge, no new options, and none of the existing ones clear the log. I go to Act 3 Cruel town(present) by waypointing to Drowned City (cruel), and walking out and up the stairs. No Doryani, obviously.

I head to Act 3 town (Normal), and find Doryani with a quest marker, and talk to him, and The Hooded One. The objective does not clear, probably because this objective was for the moment inside the instance after defeating him.

After much research, I figure out that I can get to Act 3 Past to rerun the instance by waypointing to Act 3 Normal town (present), walking into Drowned City, waypointing from Drowned City back to town, which put me into Act 3 Normal past, just outside Utzaal. I go through Utzaal, Aggarat, and The Black Chambers, and kill Doryani once more. He shows a quest marker, I talk to him, all dialogue. Nothing changes.

My apologies if any of my recollection on how I troubleshot this is inaccurate. This all occurred over a couple weeks. I'm level 94 now and still have this objective showing at all times in my hideout, Zig Refuge, and endgame content. Would love to see this fixed somehow.
