The "refresh mechanic" is terrible and will ruin your game
Ok one thing that really "grinds my gears" is the whole "refresh mechanic" when you die or enter into an area you've already finished without resetting the instance. Having to discover everything I already discovered over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over.... Wait I'm not done... And over and over and over and over... Are you getting bored of me saying... And over and over and over and over... Holy crap I just went crosseyed. Do you understand what I'm saying? Repetition is not fun, it's boring af. There are very few "shrines" or activities to take away from the monotony of the grind. I know it's in early development, it looks great and feels great. I feel like it shouldn't be as difficult as it is. Most of the game feels great, but there are certain areas like the swamp area in act 2 that is very tedious and you can't sell anything without getting attacked by several mobs.... Which brings me to my next point... Why are mobs so deadly?
One thing I like is that I can evade. PoE1 there was no evade. Yet what good is evade when I get stopped by monsters normally I would squash with my boot, but they crowd me so much I can't move them the big guys swarm me. Can we get a option to kick the little guys at least? Maybe press enter/a to kick small enemies away for a short duration. I feel like that is fair. Kontagian Last bumped on Jan 9, 2025, 2:42:38 PM
