Trial of Sekhema Relic Altar stuck

joining someone else's trial of sekhema area (with stash / balbala) sometimes locks your relic altar (?) or is it just because you can't create new instances of the area that you need to time out that zone so you can interact with the relic altar again..

temporary fixing the dupe exploit may have had unintended effects.
