Crossbow not working after swapping from bow using mouse keys

How to replicate:
1. Place bow and arrow in one weaponset. (I used dualstring bow) Map stormcaller arrow on right mouse key.
2. Place crossbow in the other weaponset. Map crossbow shot on left mouse key.
3. Click left mouse key, and then load shockburst rounds.
4. Click right mouse key, the arrows will start shooting.
5. Click left mouse key again, nothing happens. The character seemed to be holding the crossbow up like a close combat pose, and he walks really slowly from then on. Is there a walk toggle in POE2? Can't find it in the input tab.

Other observations:
- From #5 above onwards, I'm unable to change the weaponset (clicking I or II) from the inventory screen). I'm also unable to change weapon using 'X' key.
- If I used 'X' to switch weapons first and then clicking the mouse button, then it works. The workflow from step #3 onwards is: Click the right mouse key, the arrows will start shooting, click 'X' to change weapons, click the left mouse key, the previously loaded bolt for the crossbow will start working.
- From the #5 above, the left mouse key works again after any interaction with NPC or stash chest.

Seems I have the same exact issue. I have the crossbow in WS1 and Bow/Quiver in WS2.

100% reproduceable as well.

I unequipped my quiver and have the same issues / no change.

Seems I have the same exact issue. I have the crossbow in WS1 and Bow/Quiver in WS2.

If you have a middle button mouse, I found a quick fix. Map the middle button mouse with grenade. Then right click for stormcaller arrow, middle click to throw grenades, and then left click for the crossbow will work.

I find this cleaner than messing with 'X', it seems like sometimes when I press 'X', it doesn't really switch and when I click left mouse button too fast it will get stuck. After that I have to fumble around to get it working again.
