Blasphemy + Decaying Hex Does Not Apply DoT to Nearby Enemies

Summary:
When using Blasphemy to apply a curse aura linked with Decaying Hex, enemies around the player do not receive the expected Damage over Time (DoT) effect. Notably, if the same curse and Decaying Hex are cast manually (i.e., self-cast by the character), the DoT correctly applies to enemies. This discrepancy suggests that the DoT component of Decaying Hex is not triggering when the curse is delivered by Blasphemy.

Steps to Reproduce:
Socket Blasphemy in your gear.
Link Blasphemy with a Curse Gem (e.g., Punishment, Temporal Chains, etc.).
Add the Decaying Hex support gem in the same link setup.
Activate the aura granted by Blasphemy.
Approach enemies and observe the effect.

Observed Behavior:
The curse (via Blasphemy) is visibly applied to enemies in the aura’s radius.
No Damage over Time is observed from Decaying Hex when delivered through Blasphemy.
However, casting the same curse manually (without Blasphemy) does allow Decaying Hex to apply its intended DoT.

Expected Behavior:
Enemies within the Blasphemy aura radius should receive both the curse and the Decaying Hex DoT effect.
Visual or numerical indicators (e.g., continuous damage ticks, debuff icons) should appear to confirm that Decaying Hex is functioning when linked to Blasphemy.

Additional Details:
No error messages or item descriptions suggest that Decaying Hex should be incompatible with Blasphemy.
The bug persists regardless of which specific curse gem is used.
It occurs across different zones and enemy types, consistently preventing the DoT from being applied via the aura.

Reproduction Rate:
100%: The issue consistently appears under the outlined conditions.

I actually just made a post talking about this lol. Blasphemy states curses applied via that skill are turned into "vile auras" so they are applied as debuffs rather than curses. The interesting (more likely a bug than choice) part is that these debuffs still apply to your total curse count. that's why there is no dot applied.

This could be correct, but why would it be allowed to equip that support gem in the first place if this was the case?
