Bug report? Game locked up

This is mainly a report for the dev team as opposed to a request for assistance. The game is cool and I know qa is difficult.

I lost all my honor in my first trial of strength and the game wouldn't let me press any buttons on my controller or keyboard other than ESC. I'm using a ps4 controller connected to pc via usb and I'm playing a monk on steam. All I can assume is that the game didn't consider me dead and therefor just locked up. The game wasn't frozen because the last enemy was still moving and I could reach the esc menu but other than that I couldn't do anything at all and the failure message wouldn't go away either. Restarting the game worked as normal
