A casuals take on content.
First off GREAT GAME WELL DONE!!
However.. There are in my opinion some aspects that are in need of a switch up.. This is coming from a casual player who has played their own version of spark by the way. Im mostly going to focus on the endgame stuff as i feel the story and progression through it was great and will be even better once we have full access to all weapons, skills, items, classes and all that... 1: Progressing through the atlas from T1s-T15s is a just a thing to do and does not feel rewarding apart from a couple points to the atlas tree after 10 or so maps. Couple ideas: A: Atlas tree needs more nodes and we need more atlas points to allocate at sooner intervals. B: At the Last Map of each Tier have a weaker version pinnacle boss infiltrate our map upon completion that's trying to reclaim parts of the atlas that we need to "scare off" (this could be where #2 comes in). 2: Interacting with content and growing the corresponding content tree requires an "end game build" to kill the bosses for the skill points and also takes WAY too long to solo farm. Couple ideas: A: Have smaller content nodes on the atlas tree for us to spec into to allow more interaction with chosen content. B: Make some of the content nodes available through interacting with the content not killing its pinnacle boss. 3: Hunting for citadels is just painfull.. Couple ideas: A: Make a Tablet that would make the watch tower visibility larger instead of adding content to random zones. B: Add a visual direction que from a watch tower thats near a citadel pointing in its direction. 4: Loosing your entire map on death has ZERO upside in my opinion and makes me question whether i actually want to play PoE or something else when i sit down. Couple ideas: A: Make an item Doryani sells for gold that we can place in with a waystone that would get destroyed instead allowing us to re-enter maps once more. B: Loose what ever content is left on the map on death but still be allowed to re-enter and loot. C: Get rid the whole idea.. 5: The +Skill level mod is over tuned especially on caster. take a wand, if the wand doesn't have +5 at end game is useless. the other mods on the item become redundant if its not there. Couple ideas: A, Make quality on caster weapons add the skill level. B, Cap it at +3 so other top tier mods can compete. 6: On death explo effects should not be on bosses.
