A Gracious Note to Our Early Access Feedback Providers
Dear Path of Exile 2 Community,
First, let's take a moment to commend the developers for their generosity in granting us access to Path of Exile 2 at this early stage. It's a testament to their commitment to community involvement in crafting the ultimate gaming experience. Now, regarding some of the feedback I've seen: Missing Content: You've noticed that not all the content is available; this is indeed a sign of how early we are in the development process. It's like seeing the first draft of a novel - exciting, but not yet complete. Bravo for your keen observation skills! Bugs and Glitches: Encountering a bug is part of this journey. It's like finding a few wrinkles in a new piece of fabric before it's ironed out. Your shock and awe at discovering these is, well, charming. Balance Issues: Your observations on balance are invaluable. It's like being invited to taste-test a recipe before it's perfected. You're practically culinary critics at this point. Performance Concerns: Ah, performance. It's understandable to have concerns, but remember, we're still in the construction phase of this magnificent building. Your impatience is noted, truly. Here are some gentle suggestions for our shared journey through Early Access: Appreciate the Opportunity: This isn't just a game; it's a collaborative artwork still in progress. It's a privilege, really, to be here before everyone else. Provide Constructive Feedback: Your voice can help shape the game. Instead of pointing out flaws, perhaps suggest how they might be fixed or improved. Or continue to complain, we all enjoy the drama. Enjoy the Process: This is a rare chance to see how games evolve. Your patience and insights contribute to what could be a masterpiece. Or you can continue to bemoan every little thing. In conclusion, thank you for your engagement, for your feedback, and for your passion. Let's celebrate this unique opportunity to be part of Path of Exile 2's growth, with a focus on constructive dialogue rather than mere critique. Yours in early access gratitude, - Raam P.S.: Let's all enjoy this ride together, with an eye towards the incredible game we're helping to create... or at least try not to ruin it with incessant whining. Good lord, what is this thread.
GGG aren't doing us favors out of the grace of their hearts; every person with early access is there by virtue of either themselves or someone else paying money. Do you commend the McDonalds salesperson for their generosity when they give you your cheeseburger? Even when the game is free, it isn't free; it exists to solicit mtx transactions from players. The chance of this not being an elaborate stab at a troll thread is low, but on the off-chance you are serious, this is cringe as fuck. Speaking as a player who has spent enough on GGG to warrant a "free" acceptance into early access; it's perfectly fine to appreciate the product without turning your nose as brown as a shart-laden baby nappy. " Ah, you are one of those. |

Imagine writing this garbage without even being paid for it.
How sad. Love the games. PoE1 way more so than PoE2, but still enjoying both.
Hate the company. The scummy, lying, fake and shitty facade, the excuses, the failures, and most of all, the "Vision". Keep both of those in mind when reading my posts. |

" Wow. So, complaints are legitimate feedback - to include something not being enjoyable. And even if you think it's pointless, or without merit, you can usually pull something constructive out of most feedback. I knew a guy once that received player feedback for a top down shooter that amounted to a complaint that the player couldn't use their 1337 FPS skills. Not directly applicable to the game itself, but it did say something about what he did, or didn't communicate prior to the playtest session. Maybe explaining the game as just a 'shooter' wasn't the best way to describe it and was something he could have improved on. In other words, what you think of feedback is irrelevant. Stop telling other people what they should or shouldn't provide it on. Last edited by chipninja#4276 on Jan 9, 2025, 10:25:10 AM

Is this rage bait? Feels like something written by ChatGPT.
EA is not "generosity". It's a testing phase for those willing to pay. If anything, I see it as a fair transaction. We pay to try out the game, GGG gets a crowd of testers to help iron things out by release. Let's not get carried away by emotions. I think PoE2 is amazing, but it needs work, and there are some issues that need to be addressed ASAP. That's not whining, it's called "feedback". |
