Awful performance when it matters the most

The performance of this game is simply abysmal.

I just died to Zarokh in the trial of Sekhema because I was literally playing a powerpoint. c.f. video below.

I've already died before in maps or in ultimatum because of poor performance, rubber banding or a combination of both. This is just ridiculous. There is ONE boss on screen, how are the performance that bad?

I'm usually able to pause the game and wait for the lag to pass but this boss doesn't let you pause unfortunately.

This was my first time trying the fourth trial because I was afraid of exactly just that scenario. This is the exact same reason why I am currently not doing the citadels in mapping.

I already had to turn down all graphic options to low to be able to play the game at a reasonable framerate and while I don't have the best computer in the world it's definitely no slouch either (RTX 2080 and Ryzen 3 3600). I should not be experience such bad performances with this setup.

This is seriously disheartening and doesn't make me want to grind the game in its current state.
