Slot-to-fit inventory is so last millennium

One of the turn offs for two great games Diablo 2/fate were because I was constantly having to teleport back and drop stuff off every 5 minutes.... I'm not saying make it like Diablo 4's inventory space but something similar especially if you want to grab the attention of people used to d4. That was also an attraction for me on d4 as well. I found myself able to enjoy more grinding and less going back and forth. Or at least add some kind of mount or something to make going back to town more interesting!
Please don't take this the wrong way, I am not trying to step on any toes, I'm just trying to help. I've always dreamed of being a beta tester for a gaming studio and I guess this is as good as it gets for me. Anyways getting off track, the inventory mechanics are too small and tedious in my opinion.

Inventory management is a pain on controller.

I don't think they will get rid of the inventory tetris, but at the very least they could add an auto-sort button like D4 has.
