PoE1 League Launch Should Not Delay PoE2 Content Updates

That's the only thing I want from these developers. I personally don't care about Path of Exile 1, there is a reason why we are all here playing Path of Exile 2 because it's new, it's more simplified, it's better to understand, better to get into it, better graphics, better skill effects, better acts and maps, better QoL imporvements, fun to play, challenging in some way etc.

There is a reason why Path of Exile 2 still rocking 300k+ concurrent players only on Steam, there is tons of players in both standalone client and consoles too. We are officially more than 1month in and still pulling these numbers. In the mean time, every Path of Exile 1 league launches were droping to 100k after a week no console just steam.

What I want from these developers to, DO NOT STOP Path of Exile 2 content updates just because you released a new Path of Exile 1 league. The amount of people who will switch to PoE 1 from PoE 2 is insanely low if you keep releasing updates and fixes. Let your PoE 1 fans play their game, that's fine and I'm happy for them give them something new yes. But do not delay PoE 2 updates at any cost, we will be here playing PoE 2 still. You have way bigger audiance for PoE 2 and if people who enjoy both decides to play PoE 1 new league launch, so be it that's perfectly fine. But delaying PoE2 updates for PoE 1 won't make people happy who enjoy PoE 2 only at all.

So please, make sure you treat both of these games separately. Both games should have people working on them and if their updates are close to each other, it should be released anyways and not be delayed for one of them.

Thank you.

Call me greedy, but I want BOTHHHH.

Haha joking aside, at this current early access state I think even the devs will expect poe1 to absorb a huge portion back on league launch. After all it IS early access. And who wouldn’t want to play casually with 6 portals once in a while?

even tho poe1 and poe2 development have their seperate teams which do not have to share their resources i still wouldn't sacrifice any of poe1 resources since it is a fully polished game that works.

Let's be real hahaha

Poe2 is not doing well for a brand new game that should be receiving regular updates in early access.

only 140k ppl are playing on steam and that's likely the majority.

Wow, that's almost only 10 times better than poe1.

I am in Hong Kong and Steam does not support poe2 in my region and also not supported in taiwan, china, vietnam, india, indonesia, philippines, malaysia, singapore, japan, korea, thailand. And I think alot of south american countries too.

So sadly, Steam IS the minority as China itself probably shadows all other countries combined by sheer population.
