I want to play couch co-op and multiplayer online same time

I’m disappointed. On Diablo, I can log into my account on the ps5 console and play couch co-op with bf while playing online with other players that join my party. Why can’t poe2 do this? On poe2, I’m considered a guest and I log into my ps5 account to play with my character that I made on original bf ps5 account..
