My thoughts after 1 month...
the thoughts no one asked for. The thoughts I felt compelled to give.
The Acts. Act 1 has the most polish. The flow is good. The weight of quests are nice. Subsequent playthroughs I started to find it tedious to run back to town for the spike forging. I have to run back again to town to progress though the Fungal. Best Boss Fight: Count Geonor Worse Boss Fight: Beira Act 2 The polish is still looking good. I really love the concept of riding a caravan and the town moving around the map. I believe the town Icon on the map should be more prominent. Can be difficult to spot later on. The movement through town is a little rough as well. Didn't even know the town had a gambling merchant until my 2nd or 3rd playthrough. The Boss fights are so buggy due to the dodge roll changes. Pretty sure this is my favorite Act overall though. Best Boss Fight: Azarian Worse Boss Fight: Rathbreaker Act 3. The polish is needing some major work. There is a lot of bad stuff going on here. Starts off good. Then we slowly begin the nightmare into bad. So the bad begins when we have to go find the golden statue to open the Temple of Kopec. Running aroung in the Drowned City feels oppressive. You go from the tedious & pulling of many levers canals. To everywhere you go trigger aggro Drowned City/Aggrot. This is such a draining section of events. Then you rush Kopec Only to run through the same Drowned City/Aggrot again. The section is so boring. Best Boss Fight: Mighty Silverfist Worse Boss Fight: Ignagduk Maps: I like some of the terrain layout changes. The feeling of going up or downhill. Trees obscuring your view. Overall pretty good. Looking forward to more. Last bumped on Jan 8, 2025, 10:49:30 PM
