Health or Mana potion is resetting energy shield

Whenever I use a potion my energy shield will drop to ~3400 (max is 4100) and then will regen. This will also reset any overflow of my Energy Shield from things like Grim Feast.

I have this same bug: what I think is happening when I use health or mana flask it's temporarily unequipping then re-equipping my body armor. It only happens with my corrupted Expert Scalper's Jacket.
If I unequip that chest piece my energy shield stays at the level that the flasks reduce me to. The resetting also doesn't happen when I have nothing in the chest slot. Last edited by peasantb#6113 on Jan 8, 2025, 10:12:09 PM

Flasks are having issues right now, just posted mana flask use hitting my HP. Its even bypassing my ES.

Try unequipping your body armor and see if it still happens and/or if your hp is lowered to the amount your flask use sets it to.

Still having issues after reequipping. It seems like its hitting my hp for 108, and my chest is 108 hp.
Bug is gone when no body armour is on So I think its safe to assume for now HP and ES on body armor will hurt you a lot with flask use. Last edited by NameIdeas#3615 on Jan 8, 2025, 8:54:16 PM

Even with my body armor removed I have the same issue. Still hits my ES any time I use a flask.

Just posting to say I encountered this issue today, but with my helmet. It seemed to start after clicking on a lightning shrine. Every time I use a potion my character is surrounded by lightning. Literally unplayable though, as I am running eternal youth and need potions to stay alive.

From what I can tell, it's happening with body armor with a large amount of Evasion. Experimenting a bit, the bug happens with both body armors I have with 900+ and 2000+ Evasion, but no others yet. Want to note it also makes the equipping armor sound when activating a flask.
