Tempest bell lock on

Don't know if this is intended but it's really frustrating. Whenever I throw down a tempest bell my character will just auto lock onto the bell when I use Tempest Flurry and I loose all control over my chracter, Why can't I just tempest flurry around the bell in a circle freely? This feels really bad especially in boss fights when I just wanna get away from the boss but If I press tempest flurry even once while the bell is down my chracter will just auto target the bell while walking towards it.

Please let us disable the auto targeting on certaiin skills, it feels horible.
