Got a Message That My Account Was Banned

I haven't played in a few days. I logged in today and the game froze for a second and there was a popup that said, "Your account has been banned by an administrator" or something to that effect and I got kicked to character select.

I haven't cheated at a video game since I was a little kid using a game genie on NES. I think cheating is lame and ruins the game. I would never cheat. It's stupid.

Why the hell would I have been flagged for cheating randomly, or... was someone trying to hack into my account by giving me some kind of fake ban message?

I was able to log back in and continue playing but now I'm scared my account is going to be banned for something I wouldn't ever do.
