I usually play ranged characters, as I did this time. However, you force these characters into melee combat with the shitty ‘Proximal Tangibility’.
Do you also force melee fighters into ranged combat?
Probably not.

Then there's the extremely stupid double penalty with experience loss AND deletion of the upgraded maps.
Even the Souls series gives you the chance to regain the experience.

Honestly, I really enjoy playing POE 2, but I could slap something against the wall every now and then, because the game is sometimes just frustrating when enemies like this appear.

Oh yes, I forgot. It's also great that Tier 1, 3 or even 5 waystones drop in Tier 12 maps, even though you have a different skill in atlas.

Go play melee for 30 minutes and you'll see how horribly wrong you are.

PoE1 and 2 absolutely have mobs that are a nightmare for melee chars to deal with.

Proximal is one of the easiest mods to deal with - by far.
Yes, they force melee to play ranged. I have 2 warriors that got to 80+ and proximal tangibility was a nightmare...because I wasn't getting that close to them.

FYI, PT on its own is easy. Sure. But when something is incredibly dangerous because of the *other* 6 mods then it immediately becomes a big problem.

And it should be a big problem.

If the rare monster mods are not impacting how you deal with them, then why do the mods exist?

If a mod is challenging you and forcing you to adjust your playstyle, it's working.

Yes, I also meant PT in combination with the other "nice" mods that make it almost impossible for some chars to do damage.

Some combos really suck.

i had a one shot capable, teleporting, mana siphoning, proximity tangibility & corpse explosion rare on a super juiced breach as a deadeye.

if i wouldnt have had the orb of storms with lightning rods and the speed to create distance for setup, there would be no fucking chance ever, except using basic attack which is kinda riddiculous.
Rework your passive tree for buildup and damage. And buy a new weapon with at least 250 phys dps and +projecile lvl.

As a Warrior who is forced to contend with EVERY MECHANIC, it always makes me laugh when Ranged classes who have the luxury of skipping 90% of the modifiers in this game rage over 1 thing they actually have to contend with.
