Trial of the shekemans

We can’t continue because after one failed attempt (we failed a couple of times) we couldn’t restart the trial and of coin or what it’s called is gone. It’s not in the so called shrine and we can’t talk to Balbala to restart the trial like we did previous attempts then we got our coin back. Well one of us can but not the other. If we don’t put in both coins we can’t progress to any door after we complete a stage.

Is anyone else having this issue?
Are the developers aware of this and are they working on solving it?

We have also tried to run all the way to boss solo like many have said work and then log in second character but we end up outside boss room and can’t open the door.
