Rituals can't be started

Map is rustbowl, the counter shows 9 remaining but no monsters can be found despite running all over. ritual could not be activated even upon initial clearing. The main thing seems to be rituals that have part of their ritual covered by a hole in the map like this: .

Ran all across map and cannot find minions but I was able to complete the one ritual that was NOT partially covered by a hole above

I was able to find all but one enemy as seen in this screenshot but I cannot start 3/4 rituals.



Update 2: 0 enemies remain, only 1/4 ritual was able to be completed. rest of them have this hole in the map on them and will not start.
