Question about MTX from POE1 to POE2

So I remember GGG once stating that all the MTX from POE1 would carry over to POE2. Is that the case for all MTX and does it work today? From what I have seen I can't remember to see anyone wear any MTX that has not been available on the POE2 shop.
What I was wondering is since POE2 shop is very limited, could I buy some MTX from the POE1 shop and equip it in POE2? I really want a shield I found for sale on POE1 shop. Last bumped on Jan 8, 2025, 1:34:36 PM

They aren't available yet.
No one knows when the PoE 1 cosmetics will become available in PoE 2. It's worth noting that +2 maps are a dangerous thing.
They can cause players to get out of their depth - playing maps that are too hard for the items they currently have. Herp Derp. |

A large majority of poe1 MTX isn't ready for PoE2 yet. For now, it would be safer for your wallet to assume if it isnt in the poe2 shop, its not ready. That is obviously not the case but unless GGG releases a list of what is available in PoE2, your just gambling unless you have seen someone wearing it.
